EPSON (Japan) PX-8 manufactured in 1984. Has a Zilog Z80 (2.45 MHz) processor and runs on CP/M 80 for operating system. Very limited machine. I use it as a terminal connected to a modern Linux machine over serial RS232 for orchestrating MIDI events with a programming language called TidalCycles. I like how it matches the Roland 909 (1983) and Akai samplers quite nicely. Also do a bit of email and hanging out on sdf.org with it. Proto social media on heritage Unix software from the 1970s. Spent an entire summer getting this setup to work. Was worth it.
